A camping event for anarchic mountain people.

We're not going to make it bigger just because we've done it a few times, and we don't intend to expand it."

Setsumasa Kobayashi, president of Mountain Research and founder of A.M.C.
Setsumasa Kobayashi, president of Mountain Research and founder of A.M.C., says with a laugh. The event, now in its third year, is certainly a great event in terms of scale and what it does,FirstThe number of people opening stalls at the market has increased a bit, but the faces are the same as usual and the number of participants is about the same. The number of people who have stalls at the market has increased a little, but the lineup is the same as usual, and the number of participants is about the same. Only one live band performs each time.
However, the rooms are always filled to capacity, and many people are unable to attend. What attracts people so much is the atmosphere that surrounds A.M.C.
As the event name "ANARCHO MOUNTAINEERS" suggests, both vendors and participants are "anarcho-mountain people. It would be an exaggeration to say that this is a place advocating anarchy or a world without rulers, but there are no prohibitions on this or that, and children and adults alike can truly stretch their wings and have fun. It is a freedom that is unimaginable at other campgrounds.
So without further ado, here is a recap of the event. It was really, really great again this year.
