Fumihiko Okabe, a stylist who left Tokyo and now lives and works in Iwate Prefecture .

Okabe-san, who moved his base to his hometown in Iwate Prefecture, is participating in A.M.C. for the first time. He said, "I came to the first A.M.C. to take a peek. I came to the first A.M.C. and saw that everyone I was close to was participating, but I wasn't invited (laughs).
Okabe-san, who now lives in the mountains, attributes his lifestyle to Kobayashi-san's influence.
I still remember clearly that I met Mr. Kova in 2006, and he taught me a lot of things. I know a lot of people at A.M.C., and my son, who wants to become a hair stylist, got clippers, and everyone was really nice to me. It's nice to feel like we're all connected in this way forever.

Like Mr. Kobayashi, Ms. Kai is also a resident of Nakameguro, Tokyo. You have been participating since the first meeting, but do you feel anything has changed since the first meeting?
This time, there was Okabe (Fumihiko), who is close to Mr. Kobayashi, and Ryo (Ryo), who is a photographer. The number of my friends is increasing every time I do this. It's more like the usual group of people are starting to gather.
Mr. Kobayashi and I hit it off over our love of Phish. Since then, our relationship has spanned more than 20 years.
Incidentally, "Bamboo Shoot" is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, and is planning to hold a festival when it reaches its 30th anniversary. Please look forward to that as well.

I was asked to make the umbrella part of the whitening kit for the first "Goal Zero," and I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with them every year since then.
Mr. Kobayashi and I have known each other since three years ago when Rockfield Equipment was launched.
I was very grateful to be asked to join the company after about one year from the launch of the brand. Timber Crew, located in Chofu City, Tokyo, is a building materials shop that has worked on the floors, walls, interior design, and many other areas of Suigen no Mori Camp Land. This is the second time they have participated in this event.
I enjoyed being able to interact with people I wouldn't normally meet, and the sense of togetherness that comes from being in nature," said Koyama.
Incidentally, the "Water Source Forest" is currently selling barbecue sticks created by the "Timber Crew". They are very easy to grill marshmallows and sausages , and the design is excellent. Be sure to check them out when you visit.

Mr. Ito, who is of the same generation as Mr. Kobayashi, participated for the second time. I think it's a really good event," he said. Mr. Yackman, who performed live at the first A.M.C., was also a regular attendee. He and Mr. Kobayashi are old acquaintances.
. it's been almost 30 years, I think. . We met for the first time in the early 90s. We were passing each other at the time, but sometime during the cherry blossom viewing season, Mr. Kobayashi was having a drink outside, and I happened to pass by and he said to me, 'Have a drink, Yak, too. I think we became friends from there.
What kind of person is Mr. Kobayashi to you?
You are digging maniacally for what you want to do, and you are attacking the very edge of what you want to do, right? There are very few people today who can go that far. Also, since we are both from the Edo period, I feel comfortable with his fast pace and his way of speaking, and I feel a sense of familiarity with him (laughs).

Next year's schedule has not yet been announced, but if all goes as usual, the next event will be held on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27, 2024 .
