We took a snapshot of fashionable runners we found at the venue!
The day of the race is a time for runners to dress to win. We took a snapshot of four fashionable runners dressed in their own styles at the event site before the start of the race!

01
Aya Sato
professional snowboarder
(The North Face) Tops, pants, caps, shoes
I'm competing in the Fun Run 10K category. I am not very good at running, and this is the first time for me to participate in a competition. Since the snowboarding season starts next week, I'm not going to push myself too hard and just go for a light jog. The weather's nice today, and I'm hoping to run the whole thing while enjoying the scenery!"
*Result: Finished the race in 57 minutes and 19 seconds!

02
Tsutomu Takebe
photographer
(The North Face) Tops, pants, shoes (ASICS)
This is my first full marathon. I've been running a lot with the goal of running sub-4. As for the feeling, I can probably do it. As a photographer, I have some experience in photographing marathons. However, I felt that the sight of garbage strewn around the water stations was not beautiful. I hope to run today, checking out the new scenery that only the My Bottle Marathon can offer."
Result: Finished the race in 3 hours, 40 minutes and 48 seconds, achieving sub-4!

03
Meiei Teramoto
CAMP HACK / YAMA HACK
(The North Face) tops, pants, caps, Nike shoes
This is my first full marathon in a year since last year's Shonan International Marathon. I experienced the My Bottle Marathon for the first time last year, and it was stress-free. There were frequent water supply points so I didn't have to wait in line, and I liked that I could decide when to drink my gel. My personal best for the full marathon is 3 hours and 42 minutes. This is the time I set at last year's Shonan International Marathon. Today, I am not aiming for a record by any means, and I hope to enjoy running the marathon in about 4 hours!"
*Result: Finished the race in 3 hours, 39 minutes, and 53 seconds, setting a new personal best!

04
Seiya Takagi
RETO Running Club Team Manager
(The North Face) Tops, pants, shoes, caps
I participated in the Shonan International Marathon last year. When I run a marathon, I basically aim for a personal best, but last year, I dared to "enjoy" the marathon. That was very refreshing, and I actually enjoyed running the marathon. I was a little skeptical about the My Bottle Marathon at first, but once I actually ran it, I didn't mind at all. There were plenty of water supply points, and the course was clean and pleasant. I'm looking forward to running it again, this time for fun."
*Result: Finished the race in 3 hours, 42 minutes and 01 second!
