. You have been active in various fields, including magazines and commercials. Have you always wanted to be a model?
. actually, I originally came to Tokyo to be an actor, maybe 12 years ago. . I was interested in expressing something, and I started just when I was given the opportunity to model. . As for acting, I am now approached by a director I know and participate in auditions, and I usually appear in a film about once a year.
Do you see yourself differently when you are an actor than when you are a model?
Yes, in my mind, modeling and acting are "close but slightly different". When I am a model, especially in fashion, the main focus is on clothes, and my personality is pulled by the clothes and makeup I wear at the time. . It might be very different when I wear a dress or a suit (laughs). So, when I shoot with my good friends, I sometimes wear my own clothes, which is quite embarrassing because it puts me between myself and the model.

When I'm in a play, I'm a completely different person, and I'm more conscious of having lines that represent that person and make the person stand out more. I enjoy both.
Do you use a bag in your daily activities?
I don't carry much luggage at work.... . when I go to the field, I tend to carry a minimal amount of stuff in a small bag, such as my cell phone, wallet, and scripts.

No, actually, in my private life, I like bags too much and have quite a few of various kinds. When choosing a bag, ease of use and functionality are important, but I also like to think, "Is that leather? or "Is the strap here that delicate? I am impressed when I find unusual details that do not match my sensibilities. When I find a point that catches my attention, I am hooked (laughs).
