First up is montara , which opened in 2022. , a cheese and wine store located in the south of Hokuto City. It has a selection of cheeses from Japan and around the world, from fresh mozzarella to peculiar ones, which can be paired with various kinds of wines. The wines are also white, red, orange, and everything in between.



The owner, Yusuke Honda, is knowledgeable, having previously worked as a sommelier and at a winery. If you tell him your preferences, he will suggest the perfect bottle.
Behind the counter, there is a poster of J Dilla's famous album "Donuts" and the well-known "stacks bookstore" in HOUYHNHNM's. The store has a high cultural density.

This restaurant is named after Bob Dylan's famous song. In fact, in this area, a wind called "Yatsugatake Oroshi" (not Rokko Oroshi, but Yatsugatake Oroshi) blows in during the fall and winter. Kenji Miyazawa's "Kaze no Matasaburo" is said to be set in this area. So, "Blowin' in the Wind" means "blown by the wind. in the Wind" = "Blowin' in the Wind. . The restaurant offers records, coffee, and eel.


Eels sent live from Kyushu are raised in spring water from the Yatsugatake Mountains , and the fluffy, tender ones are served. They are extremely delicious. The owner, Mr. Mikami, who is a music lover, selects records and CDs for sale, and you may be able to find some great bargains.
