When you were on stage at the Japan Academy Awards ceremony the other day, your speech and demeanor were very natural and impressive.
HIMI:Thank you very much. I still like the natural look.
I am not bluffing, but I am not being humble either.
HIMI:That's the most reassuring. Everyone will probably do so when they get older. Maybe I'm just starting now.
How do you usually spend your off-days?
HIMI:When I'm at home, I play guitar all the time, listen to music, and watch YouTube. Basically, it's music all the time. The rest of the time...I cook, play until morning, and get tired.

I would like to know more about your recent activities.
HIMI:I have a live concert in Daikanyama later today (the day of the photo shoot). I have been doing a lot of gigs recently, and I have to release new songs.
I have the impression that you are also busy with acting and modeling in addition to your musical activities.
HIMI:As for modeling, I don't consider it my main job. As an actor, once I'm cast, I don't do anything else and concentrate on that. Until recently, I was working on a drama series, so I couldn't do any live performances, and I couldn't find time in my schedule to devote to music. When I don't have anything else going on, I'm always doing music.
HIMI: Growing up in your environment, was there always music around you?
HIMI:Yes, I do. Both of my parents love music. Music was always playing at home, and we had musical instruments, so I could listen and play loudly. That was a big part of it. It was also for fun.
Do you enjoy being an actor?
HIMI:It's fun, even though it's hard work. I have been doing this since I was about 17 years old, and it is interesting because I meet new people every time I do it. I would like to go abroad someday.
How is your English?
HIMI:I can speak, I've been studying English since I was 12 years old.
What country would you go to if you could?
HIMI:I would like to go to all of them. Recently, people around me have been going to London, so I went to London last year, and I also went to Spain.
