HIMI and Sou Morita, a new standard of Vans shoes worn by two expressive people.

HIMI:It's all over the place. It's pretty random, and I'm not particular about it. Rather, I go to stores because I get along well with the staff there, or if I'm overseas, I just look at random items at markets and buy them if I think they are cute.

HIMI:I love "Vans," not because of the interview. I have been wearing them for a long time. I don't skate these days, but when I used to skateboard, I used to wear "Vans" shoes. I also wore Vans to school.

HIMI:I think it was junior high school. They were checkered "slip-ons". I think they were really popular at school. I picked them out myself and had them bought for me. I've continued to buy them from then until now. These days, I often wear simple, high-cut shoes.

HIMI:I don't wear them - I don't think I'll wear them. I might not like them very much.

HIMI:That may be. Vans" are always unadorned.

HIMI:I believe that the music I do can be heard in any era. It is timeless, both in the past and in the present. That's why I want it to have a sound that can still be heard 10 years from now. I've been wearing Vans for a long time, and I'm sure I'll still be wearing them 10 years from now. I'm sure I'll still be wearing them even when I'm an old man. If they are good only for today, it would be fine to make the design more modern, but if you do that, what about 10 years from now?

HIMI:I would like to make a lot of music and be able to go abroad. I would like to make band members overseas as well. I would also like to stay happy for now, and stay happy with my family. That's a very big answer (laughs).
