Late afternoon with the wind on our side.

In the afternoon, when the weather is pecan sunny, we go to the main lake. The wind was picking up , and it was kind of nice. It cools down my burning body, and , above all, many small fish were being washed ashore. Bass chasing them and breaking the surface of the water. The two of us encounter a very hot point, and cast here and there.

Tsujii:Lots of small fish and boils all over the place. I think the bass are about 40 cm . You can throw big baits or bigger lures and they will chase you.
Komatsu:Is it a wakasagi? It's a big school . . I want to catch them at any cost using a wakasagi worm.
The bass are biting so hard that they are getting up on the shallows , and the sight of them is the best opportunity of the day. I tried to catch them somehow or other, but the bass just tossed me around. I thought I could catch it, but I couldn't. . This frustration was also interesting. . This frustration is also interesting, but it would be even more interesting if I could catch it.

With the two being played by the bass on his side, Ishii is swinging his rod at his own pace. At times like this, it is no use getting all riled up. It is important to relax and take it easy.
Ishii:I've been going to festivals and camping recently, and I've been enjoying spending time in nature, so I thought I'd try to get that same feeling when fishing . I've been listening to Phish and Grateful Dead, and it feels good to be throwing the lure I want to throw.

Meanwhile, Hiramoto & Yoshitsugu pair went to another point. The shallows, where there were no fish in the morning, seemed to be crowded with small fish. . This is where another angler was having a good time before noon when he broke up the fishing.
Hiramoto:I came here first thing in the morning and it was not at all , but the wind was blowing and the fish seemed to be gathering. . I throw floating prop baits and noisies.
This is another promising point. Then, there was a reaction!

Mr. Yoshitsugu , I did it!
Yoshitsugu:I raised and threw a popper to where it swam away , and it dropped in a good spot. I was moving the popper around and it bit me with a thump. It was the first time I had ever had such a great bite!

We managed to catch one more fish, and then it was time to call it a day. Although we did not catch any fish, we were able to enjoy the subtleties of the season under the clear skies before the onset of the rainy season, which is difficult to feel in urban areas. That's just an excuse.

Ishii:. It was a tough fight for all of us. But, the difficulty of the tournament made me reaffirm the fun of bass fishing. I would like to make up for today's defeat at the first "Bakkatsu Mondai," which will be held for the first time.
Tsujii:. I was disappointed that I did not catch any fish, but I enjoyed Kameyama Lake because it has more points than Sagami Lake. I will try to go to Kameyama Lake as well.
Komatsu:I'm disappointed that I didn't catch it. Accepting defeat is the pride of a loser. ...... . I definitely want to fish in the "Bakkatsu Mondai." . It seems that many people I'm meeting for the first time will be participating, so I'm looking forward to that too.

Hiramoto:I missed one bite and said it was the highlight of my day. There is such a thing as a saying ( lol ) .
Yoshitsugu:. I hadn't caught a bass in a long time, and my hands were shaking. That made me more than happy, and it felt good just to be surrounded by nature and throwing a lure.
