-What is your impression of the fashion scene this season?

Ida: Grampa core" is a trendy word for fall and winter. But if you look at the younger generation it is interesting to see a variety of fashion styles. Over-sized clothes are as popular as ever, but the older generation is still wearing oversized clothes. However, it is interesting to see the variety of fashion styles among the younger generation. or minimalist styles with vintage clothing and tight silhouettes.

-that fashion styles are more diverse than ever before.

Ida: I feel that the younger generation is more conscious of their own individuality, so they wear what they believe is good regardless of their surroundings. It is better if each person enjoys fashion in this way.

-After all, the trend is fragmented, isn't it?

Ida: I think fashionable people are looking for something new and trying different styles. There hasn't been a designer like Demna Vasaria (Creative Director of Balenciaga(Balenciaga) / Founder of Vetements(Vetements)) who creates new trends for a while, so maybe it's time for a new designer. Founder of Vetements(Vetements)), has not emerged for a while, so maybe we are in a period of in-between. I myself am the type of person who wants to do what others are not doing.

-What items are you looking out for this season?

Ida: Last year I coordinated colorfully, but this year I am in the mood for one-tone gray and black. I want to enjoy layering with chic colors. The silhouette is just right. I want to keep the coloring and size minimal.

-What did you buy this season?

Ida: I just bought the set-up I am wearing now. The material is cashmere and it is comfortable to wear. Last year I would have worn knitwear a size larger, but this year I like the size of this one. Also, I've been wearing an apron skirt lately.

-I'm sure you'll enjoy the layers and silhouettes.

Ida: That's right. Even with minimalist dressing, I try to be more aggressive than defensive. I want fashion to be fresh, so I try to incorporate new elements.

-How is your work these days?

Ida: Things have been a little hectic, and we had 12 shoots this week.

-You must be doing quite a lot of shooting. With such a busy schedule, how do you spend your days off?

Ida: I like to go for walks, so on my days off I go for a short walk, have a coffee or a meal. On the way home from that, I go for a run. That alone makes me feel like I've had a fulfilling day. When I look at the city, it looks different depending on the season, and there are new stores. Walking or running makes me feel fresh, just like when I adopt a new fashion style, so I cherish it in my daily life.
