Please start with your first impression of the shoes.
Morita: I thought the design was very cute. The thick sole balances out the wide pants. The rest is simple and easy to match with any styling. It's a very versatile pair.
What is the first styling point?
Morita: This casual styling incorporates sweat pants. A striped shirt is worn as an inner layer as an accent while a black color is used to match the shoes for a unified look.
Pants are quite wide. Is this a trend this season?
Morita: That's right. I think that adding volume to the feet may be the current mood. For example, when wearing flared pants, slacks, or other beautiful pants, I feel that a slightly voluminous pair of shoes will give you the balance that is typical of this year.

Please tell us what you think of the shoes.
Morita: I was surprised at how light they are. I am originally from an area in Hokkaido where snow piles up, but snow boots are heavy and many of them are difficult to design.... I had a hard time choosing shoes for adults. But these are lightweight, well-designed, and functional, so I think they are a definite pair.
Morita-san, who is from a snowy area, is also a reliable shoe.
Morita: I have a lot of trouble choosing shoes when I go back home, but I wanted to try these shoes next time. Even in Tokyo, it is cold in winter with ordinary sneakers, but these would solve the problem in one fell swoop.
I see. Tell us about the second styling.
Morita: I love denim so much that I take in denim every day. This time, I'm going for a simple denim-on-denim styling. This time, I styled it in a simple denim-on-denim look. However, I was conscious of not making it too casual by using a gray color. I also put on a beautiful outer layer and hung a blue knit over my shoulder for a touch of color.
What is the Descente brand image?
Morita: Last year, we handled Descente shoes again, and everyone who tried them on in our stores bought them, and we heard nothing but good things about them on the web. I think that because it is a sports brand, there is a sense of trust and security in the functionality. The designs are simple but cute, and many of the items never go out of style and will be treasured for many years to come.
