When I look at "NANA Mika," I think about clothes that play a supporting role. I am thinking of daily wear that does not have an overt logo, but rather incorporates highly functional materials into an everyday design that is worthy of being a "supporting role. Wearing a NANAMICA coat on the beach this time is actor Noriko Eguchi. She professes that she doesn't do social networking and is not good at "publicity stunts," but here we present her honest remarks in front of the ocean, as well as some casual yet wonderful photos.

Nanamica is between functional and non-functional clothing.

What are some of your favorite fashion trends?

I like clothes that are basic and can be worn for a long time. I never buy clothes that I think are cute but will probably only be worn for one year. I like the clothes I wore today. At first glance, it looks like nothing, but it has the right atmosphere and is easy to move around in.

Have you heard of NANAMICA?

I often went to the store where it used to be (a different place in Daikanyama). A good friend of mine told me about it, and that's how I came to like it.

What kind of image do you have of NANAMICA?

An image between functional and non-functional clothing. I think there are clothes that seem to be resistant to rain and fit for travel.

I heard that you like to travel.

It's not so much a hobby as a way to get away from Tokyo in between jobs. I just want to get away from here, so I go somewhere far away. It is more because I want to get away from here than because I am very interested in some other country.

So you need time to completely turn off.

I want to get away from Tokyo. I have recently realized that Tokyo is suffering.

(laughs).

I really think so. It is a tough city for me. For me, Tokyo = work, so I guess I want to escape from that.

What about outdoor activities for a change, even if you are not traveling?

I'm really interested in camping and such. But I'm not good at spending time with a lot of people, so if I'm invited to go camping, I'd say no. But I want to go camping. But I want to go camping. But I think it would be difficult to do it alone, so if there is a camp for a small group of about 3 people, that would be great.

How about sports?

I don't. But I do like to walk. I work indoors most of the time, so when I go outside on my days off, I can't help but feel a sense of freedom. Just walking outside makes me happy! Freedom! I feel free! That's how much I have to endure in my work (laughs).
