What they have in common.

-You met in Paris through a mutual acquaintance's party about two years ago.
Day nails: I thought that Hiro-san (Mr. Sueyasu) was a punk who made sharp punk works, and that his character would be sharp as well. But when I met him, I found him to be a very low, soft-spoken, and passionate person.
I am far away from punk, so I did not know much about the punk world, but my first impression is that there are very few people who have such passion and enthusiasm.
Suenan: Passion.......when you talk about passion, you are very persuasive. You even appeared in "Jounetsu Tairiku" (Continent of Passion) (laughs). (Laughs) I really like Taro Okamoto, so I guess I am a passionate person. Techniques come with time, but what is more important is power and passion. I felt that from Hizume-kun, too.

Day nails: My sense is that it is difficult for a foreigner to remain in Paris for 5 or 10 years, regardless of position, unless he or she has passion. Hiro's passion resonates with me, who has been working in Paris for many years, so I thought that if we could do something together, it would create an interesting chemical reaction.

Suenan: If I moved from Tokyo to Paris, I would probably be imbued with French elegance, but I did not want to be influenced by that, and I wanted to compete with something different from others. At that time, I happened to meet Mr. Hizume at the right time, and although what we were doing was different, I often felt that what we were doing was fundamentally the same. There are not many people who can feel that, so I think we are now one of the very few people who can share that feeling.
