PROFILE

Moriyama Mirai

Born in 1984 in Hyogo Prefecture, he began studying various genres of dance at the age of five, and made his full-fledged stage debut at the age of 15. As an actor, he has received numerous awards, including the Japan Academy Prize. As a dancer, he won the 10th Japan Dance Forum Award. He was in charge of a solo performance at the opening ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. He is active in Japan and abroad as an expressionist transcending genres in theater, dance, and video.
