Huynem: First of all, ...... is this a "superstar"?

Kojima: This is a triple collaboration by adidas Originals, Abasing Ape®, and ATMOS. The "Superstar Vintage," which features a slim silhouette, was used as the base for the new version.

Huynem: Oh, wow. That's a great lineup. Is this the first time these three have teamed up?

Kojima: This is the first time. It was made possible because this year is the 25th anniversary year for ATMOS.

HOUYHNHNM's: What is the point of the arrangement?

Kojima: The upper is stamped with the original "Abasing Ape®" camouflage pattern, while the signature "G-SNK" luminescent snake pattern of "ATMOS" is incorporated throughout.



Huynam: The details are very intricate.

Kojima: The underlying theme is "monkey vs. snake. The monkey, the symbol of , is fused with the snake in the iconic G-SNAKE pattern of Atmos.

Huynem: I see. This is going to be a hot topic.

Kojima:Abasing Ape® and ATMOS were both born in Harajuku, so there is a connection. As someone who has been based in Harajuku for many years, I was very moved by the collaboration.

Huynam: By the way, in the panel image at the top of this article, Kojima-san is holding the right foot of the shoe. I usually have my left foot.

Kojima: I wanted to show the STA logo. This shoe has the STA logo on the outside of the upper of the right foot and the three stripes on the inside. The left foot is the opposite.

Huynem: It's telegraphed left and right.

Kojima: The side of the upper is the face of the sneaker. It is an amazing thing to put the icon of the collaborator on it, if you think about it. It would not be possible without a strong bond between the brands.
