When I see an M-65 field jacket, I think of Travis in "Taxi Driver" played by Robert DeNiro.
They are wearing the 2nd model in the production, but this is the 3rd model.
And, well, leaving such details aside, notice the stencil on the back!
"LA COUNTY JAIL".
It is an historical Prisoner's Jacket, which was supplied to the prisons by the military and worn by the prisoners. It is extremely rare.
But it's a rough trick that would be unthinkable today. They made too many military uniforms, so they decided to dress prisoners in them.... That's America, the land of the free!
That is why I think it is a piece of clothing full of romance, whether it is the small number of bullets or the size equivalent to an XS.
