There has been a continued focus on the 90's casual style of late. Oversized, brightly colored, street-style interpretations of outdoor and traditional brands.
That style is still going strong, but personally, I spent this winter almost entirely in black, so I have my eye on items like this.
The size is still dowdy, but this is a nylon shirt with a headband that seems to work well with the mode direction. What brand is it? When I looked at the tag, I found it to be "J.CREW," the conscience of the American casual brand.
When I saw this, I was reminded of "HELMUT LANG JEANS" from the 1990s. This is a collection of items with a minimalist taste, bringing military and work styles into the context of mode.
I don't think that J. Crew intended to make this kind of dress at the time, but I think it would be a perfect piece to wear in a chic and beautiful manner, while keeping in mind the atmosphere of the time.
