Levi's began to develop its apparel business in earnest, starting with the "White Levi's" introduced in the 1960s, and in the 1970s, many design-conscious items were born, some of which were oddities and curiosities. In the 70's, many design-conscious items were created, and some of them were oddities and curiosities.
The deformed shirt jacket we are going to discuss here is just like that. It is probably from the late 70s or early 80s. The chest pocket adopts a pants pocket style, and the pleated front seen on the 506 and 507 was intentionally put into a shirt jacket. It is a variant far removed from the so-called "Levi's" of the high street, but it is interesting that the original "Levi's" would do such a thing, and I think it is now a roundabout way of saying "yes". What do you think?
