The summer sun has begun to peek through. It seems like only a few days ago that the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, but the seasons change so quickly. It's so hot .......
That's why many of you have been wondering about the short-sleeved shirts around here.
This one is from Weintraub Brothers, a long-established American uniform manufacturer.
From the pocket design similar to a CPO shirt and the anchor button, I would imagine that it was issued as a uniform for the Navy.
Nevertheless, it does not have the earthy feel characteristic of military shirts, and the all-black color and polyester's unique sheen give it a sense of elegance.
And it is dead stock, size XL.
Flashy patterned shirts are cool and summery, but it's mass-produced shirts like these that go with any bottom that I end up wearing in my sleeves.
On cooler days, it is best layered over a long T, and on sunny days, it is just right to throw on over a tank top.
