I like John Lennon's solo album "The Soul of John," which was released soon after the Beatles' breakup. The entire album contains songs that express John's inner life as it really is, and you can literally feel "John's soul" in every one of them. It always makes my heart warm.
When I first heard the song, I was drawn to the first part of the song, "Mother," which is about John's original experience of being abandoned by his mother, and the final part, "Mamadongoooooooooooooo," which sounds like a cry, was so painful that I cried.
Now, I've digressed a bit, but I would like to introduce a parody T-shirt of John's "Mother". I am not sure if the illustration resembles Julia (John's mother's name), but for those who know the song "Mother", I think the act of wearing John's mother is both stylish and ironic. If you like John, how about this?
