With the support of VERDY, New York-based artist Aurel Schmidt will exhibit his softly colored paintings inspired by the trash of everyday life.
The two venues are "RISE ABOVE GALLERY" in Osaka and "FRAME GALLERY" in Tokyo.
This project was realized because Ms. VERDY herself is a fan of Aurel Schmidt. In addition to her signature "Trash Dolls" series, the Tokyo exhibition will also feature two large works reminiscent of medieval demons.
In addition, a special collaboration item featuring VERDY's artwork, "Girls Don't Cry," illustrated by Aurel Schmidt, will be available for purchase.
Aurel Schmidt will be present at the opening reception for the Osaka exhibition, which opens tomorrow, so feel free to visit. The Tokyo venue will open on Sunday, July 13.
