A prestigious Swiss watch brand with a background in motorcycle culture.TAG HeuerThe brand itself has archived many of the famous pieces that have been created over its 150-year history , and has preserved many of them in its archives.
Events are being held all over the world to showcase such historical pieces to the public, and here in Tokyo, at the Espace TAG Heuer Omotesando, an exhibition is being held right now.
This event will tour 10 cities around the world, including Paris and Munich . The starting point of the journey is the museum at the headquarters in Switzerland. Each city has its own exhibition theme, and unique vintage watches are compiled and collected accordingly.
The theme for Tokyo is "Motor Racing & Design with History". The "Cell," the favorite of brand ambassador Ayrton Senna, and the "Monaco," worn by Steve McQueen in the movie "The Glorious Le Mans," will be on display, making it a must-see for motorcycle enthusiasts.
Time of Trip, the first dashboard chronograph, introduced in 1911 . Exhibited for the first time in Japan .
The exhibition will run until Monday, October 9. Admission is free. Some of the clocks will never be seen in Japan again. Please don't miss this opportunity.
