Champion, a brand loved by people of all ages and genders, launched a creator collaboration project in 2021. Champion, loved by people of all ages and both sexes, has been collaborating with domestic creators in various forms up to the present day.
For the latest installment of this project, Fukuoka-based artist Yoichiro Uchida was invited as a partner.
The two new T-shirts from the two companies are a fusion of their two identities and are highly coveted by fans.
The most distinctive feature is Uchida's iconic postcard artwork. The artwork, which is composed of words pieced together as he goes along, is placed prominently on the front of each piece, as if it were a free-jazz session.
Mr. Uchida usually works without a specific theme, but for this collaboration, two design sources were used.
The first is a portrait of Sam Friedland, creator of Champion's iconic REVERSE WEAVE® manufacturing method.
