This year, the photographer moved his base of operations to New York City.Jiro Konami. His new album will be released in the spring of 2012, and will be released in Japan in the spring of 2013.
. The subject of this film is "GIMATAI," an old car club in Okinawa. This work was produced by an independent brand from Tokyo, <BlackEyePatchThe work will be done in collaboration with the "K" team.
As usual , or even more so than usual, Onami's gaze is glistening as he captures with a tingling touch "GIMATAI" running through the bewitching and glittering Okinawan night.
The humidity, the echoing roar, and the smell of burning engine oil are so powerful that they seem to come to life in 3D.
Onami's willingness to take on any subject, as long as he finds it interesting, is still present in this film. This work is a vividly packaged, precious documentary of an Okinawan night.
To commemorate the release of this work, , we are pleased to announce theMARC JACOBSThe bookstore, which is owned by theBookmark (BOOKMARC)The exhibition will be held at the "The Art of the Museum" and a reception party with a book signing will be held the day before the exhibition.
