Why do we seek freedom? Seeking answers to this question posed to the Japanese street scene, BMX photographer Hikaru Funau is releasing a photo book entitled "Chromaphone.

In this book, photos and interviews with 30 riders from all over the world and Japan show how they live and breathe in their respective places. It is designed and published by "Silent Magazine" in the UK. The content of the book shows the inconvenience of street riding, which is not easily accepted in Japan, and the overwhelming gap in values between domestic riders and those from overseas.
