Fuji Rock, a summer tradition, is being held at the Naeba Ski Resort for three days from July 25 (Fri.) to 27 (Sun.) How is everyone enjoying this year's 26th annual event? On the second day, when tickets sold out early, we'll bring you a quick report with a focus on Columbia, a brand that has been wearing many people's hats.
Huinamu's Daily Fuji Rock '25" has been updated since yesterday as the event gets underway.
Forecasted temperatures are a high of 35°C and a low of 22°C. Be careful not to cool down afterwards, from sweating to getting wet from the sudden rain. We will start with the efforts of official sponsor Columbia, which was seen wearing many of its products at the event.
As many of you may already know, Columbia supports Fuji Rock and has been producing and supplying staff jackets since 2006. This year, too, Fuji Rock was hit by rain, but thanks to the unique Omni-Tech waterproof and breathable technology, everyone worked very efficiently. This jacket is the reason for the peace of mind.
After 3:50 p.m., the public live radio broadcast was recorded.
Also, a public radio recording was to be held. A little later than scheduled, around 3:50 p.m., Omega Sapien, Mad the Student, and bj Wonjin of Balming Tiger made a guest appearance. They talked about their live show and "Fuji Rock," practicing with their new school leaders, and also about the Japanese language they have recently learned. This program will be broadcasted at a later date.
Incidentally, today's performers include Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso of Argentina, FERMIN MUGURUZA of Spain, Balming Tiger of Korea, and YHWH Nailgun and Faye Webster of the U.S. Somehow, many overseas artists were felt compared to the first day. I could feel that there were more foreign artists than on the first day. James Blake just started, Tatsuro Yamashita at 19:00, Vulfpeck at 21:10, and other noteworthy acts are waiting for the "Green Stage," but I will check again today to see what the visitors were wearing!

How many times have you been to Fuji Rock?
5th time. Most impressive in the past was Glass Beams last year/first time.
What artists were you looking forward to seeing this year?
Tatsuro Yamashita. /Fred Again...
What do you think of the Columbia items you are wearing?
I like [Columbia PFG] shirts and have about 4 or 5 of them, but this hat is cool and the color is nice. I had a strong image of this brand as the brand he wears, but this was the first time I borrowed it and tried it on.
What is the point of coordination?
I like to go climbing and stuff, but I'm dressed as usual. I've always longed to wear long boots to /festivals, so I enjoy showing off my long skirts.

How many times have you been to Fuji Rock?
This is my first time here. I used to go to "Summer Soni" most of the time, but a friend of mine bought camping gear, so I decided to go to "Fuji Rock".
How are Columbia's items doing?
They are very easy to wear! Columbia is my personal favorite outdoor brand, as I have a vintage set-up and pouch.
Do you have a fashion theme for today?
A little bit nature-inspired. Linen top and bottom with tie-dye socks.
Daichi Matsumoto (company employee)
How many times have you been to Fuji Rock?
I have been here so long I can't remember. What I remember is that the year SIA came out, the "green stage" looked like a river.
What artists are you looking for?
Tatsuro Yamashita, but I come regardless of the artists. My child is 4 years old now, but I have been coming with my wife and child for all 3 days since he was 1 year old 3 years ago.
What do you think of the Columbia items you are wearing?
I trust the "OutDry" used in the boots to be very rain resistant, so I recommend it. The vest can also hold rain gear in the back pocket, so you can move around without it!

How many times have you been to Fuji Rock?
I have been here every year since 2016. The most memorable was LCD Soundsystem in 2017.
What artists were you looking forward to seeing this year and what attracted you to Fuji Rock?
This year, the first day is Ezra Collective, the second day is Vulfpeck, and the third day is kanekoayano, which I like since I saw them at "Kido Tei" in 2017.I'm from Ehime, and I like "Fuji Rock" for its inconvenience and not being scheduled in a good way.
What do you think of the Columbia items you are wearing?
I bought this shirt in a batch of 5 short-sleeved and 4 long-sleeved about 5 years ago, and it has been a summer staple ever since. I wore the beige one yesterday!
Yasuhiro Shirakura, company employee
How many times have you been to Fuji Rock?
I've been here 14-15 times; the heavy rains in 2019 when the SIA came out were impressive.
What artists are you looking for?
This year, Barry Can't Swim since I only have a one-day pass, and since my kids are still young, my wife and I are taking our time to enjoy it.
What do you think of the Columbia items you are wearing?
I like the "Bahama Shirt" from〈Columbia PFG〉. I came here with a navy one that was easy to pick up when I woke up in the morning, but I also have a long-sleeved black one and a short-sleeved white one. The appeal of this shirt is that it is not made of a material that is totally cool, but it doesn't make you feel hot.
It seems that many of the people who choose "Columbia" are "Fuji Rock" experts. Fuji Rock '25" ends tomorrow, but "Huinamu's Daily Fuji Rock '25" ends today. There will be tickets available on the day of the event, so please wear your "Columbia" and enjoy the show tomorrow!
