Food" is indispensable for human beings and enriches our lives. The "Taiyo to Tabi", a select store that gathers daily necessities related to food from all over Japan, will release items suitable for this season.

These plates are based on the plates used at the Miyoshiya taco store, and have been resized for easy use at home. The plates are produced by "Nihonkai Toki" in Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture, and are dyed with two types of yuyaku. The blue and yellow plates are inspired by nature and have the catchphrase "TAKE ME FURTHER" meaning "Take me far away.
The placemats were designed by Bob Foundation, a creative design group run by a husband and wife team. It expresses the curiosity that comes with traveling.
It can be used not only for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but also for snack time. The "Taiyo to Tabi" will be on sale from August 1 (Fri.) from the official online site of "Taiyo to Tabi" (Sun and Travel). Check it out if you are interested.
