To achieve a world without war, we need to learn from the past. Let us think about that day, which must never be forgotten, and think about peace.
Eight Six Project (EIGHTSIX PROJECT), which has been working on the theme of peace through music and art since 2001, will hold the exhibition "86ART" in Hiroshima City. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing, and more than 80 artists from Hiroshima and other prefectures will participate.

T-shirt autographed by Yoshiaki Hanazawa, presented by Keith Haring
The main attraction is a drawing by Keith Haring, the original creator of street art. He created the main visual for the 1988 Peace Concert "HIROSHIMA '88" and once visited Hiroshima to find a place to paint a mural, with the intention of "contributing to peace by leaving a drawing behind.
T-shirts and paintings presented to Yoshiaki Hanazawa, the owner of an art supply store who was his guide at the time, and his mother-in-law, Chizuko Sado, will be on display at the exhibition.
It is rare to see so many artists' works in one place. If you are in the area, come and visit.
