MilK JAPON, a Paris-based kids' fashion magazine, will hold a photo exhibition focusing on the long fashion stories that have graced the pages of the magazine to celebrate two milestones: the 10th anniversary of the first issue and the relaunch of the magazine with the September 28 issue.
Don't be fooled into thinking this is a "children's" fashion magazine. The photography is by some of Japan's leading photographers, including Toshiya Arai, Mitsuo Okamoto, Yoshiyuki Okuyama, and Osamu Yokonami. The expressions on the faces of the small models captured by these photographers are sometimes powerful and sometimes amusing, and their work is no less attractive than the fashion visuals we see in everyday life. The charm of their work is no less than that of the fashion visuals we see in everyday life, or perhaps even more so.
A limited number of special photobooks of these fashion stories will be on sale at the event, so if you are interested, please check them out as well.
