Have you ever heard of Mark Reiss? He worked as a design consultant and stylist for the men's departments of Louis Vuitton and Off-White under the direction of Virgil Abloh. Since then, he has supported the fashion world as one of the people behind the scenes, involved in the visual production of Kenzo's shows and Supreme's related projects.
His personal project is "GALILEE BY SEA.
Launched in 2019 as a place to pursue a number of ideas that I could not fully express as a stylist. We are rethinking stylized menswear and creating clothes from a more personal perspective.
Spring/Summer 2026 Collection
At the heart of the Galerie by C, contemporary elegance is at the heart of the way they create their clothes. You can feel the quiet beauty expressed through classic tailoring in the collection visuals. It is understandable that the brand claims that its clothes "do not force attention, but convey their value by drawing attention to them.
The brand has already gained a core overseas fan base and will be fully launched in Japan from the 2026 spring/summer season. Six stores, including "O Daikanyama," "International Gallery Beams," and "Manhole," will start carrying the brand in February next year.
The exquisite balance of classic and modern in the creation of clothing is unique to Mark Reiss, who is well known as a stylist. I believe that this brand's products will fit in well with Japanese people.
