A classic product of a royal brand is still good. They have a long history, reliable specs, and never get boring no matter how old they get. However, this is a series of articles for those who are a little bit gullible. We will introduce some of the brand's lesser-known, yet highly appealing products. The 15th issue is a minor good from Veilance.

Veyrans is the urban line of Arc'teryx, created in 2009. Through repeated experiments and modifications, they create ultimate everyday wear with excellent functionality. Therefore, the products are all solidly designed and have a strong impression of dark colors.

Veilance has a solid worldview, but surprisingly, this season they have added such a vivid color.

Red and yellow are colors often chosen for safety reasons. They are often used in outdoor clothing because nature is a harsh environment.

But it is not only the natural environment that is harsh. The city is no different. Once you step outside, you are never busy with cars whizzing by, and of course, rain and wind are not a problem. In the city center, there is an overload of information, with crowds and advertisements filling your field of vision. A vivid red color is necessary even in the city.

Let me preface this by introducing a few items from this season's "Veilance" lineup that wear red.

The Alice Jacket was created in 2016 and has already reigned as a brand staple. It is a piece of material that is completely waterproof, yet breathable and comfortable to wear without any friction noise.

While the material has been updated every year, the major change this season is the use of a PFAS-free Gore-Tex ePE membrane. It is lighter and thinner while maintaining the same strength and durability as the previous material.

They have been stoically producing products that employ functional materials, but this season they have finally released knitwear.

This piece, made using a 3D design, has excellent warmth retention properties, and above all, it is made with the best threads. The durable yarn has a temperature-regulating function, is resistant to abrasion, does not pilling easily, and has an excellent feel against the skin. It is also comfortable and easy to move in because it is designed to fit the movements of human beings.

Like Winona Ryder in "Reality Bites," you'll want to wear it iconically on its own. With sleeves, of course.

bucket hat ¥36,300

Bucket hats tend to keep the heat in, but this one is made of waterproof material with excellent breathability and a soft lining. It is always dry and comfortable to wear. The shock cord with buckle for adjusting the fit is also an unobtrusive but subtle consideration.

This is an unexpected choice of color, given the context of the past Veilance products. However, the vivid red is also cool because of the unchanged philosophy that underlies the creation of products.

Veilance is well known for changing the creators and ambassadors involved each season. If you miss this season, you may not see this coloring for a while. Don't miss out on their new challenge.
