Mr. Giorgio Armani, the king of mode, who unfortunately passed away the other day.
This project, which allows visitors to experience the consistent sense of beauty and a part of the philosophy behind his creative activities over the past 50 years, is calledARMANI/Archiviois up and running.
The year 2025 is the 50th anniversary of the founding of "GIORGIO ARMANI," and the objective is to systematically archive and manage the past collections, and to connect the past with the future while carrying on the brand's heritage.
As part of this project, a special exhibition is now being held at "Armani / Ginza Tower", displaying approximately 30 pieces carefully selected from the archives.
This exhibition was inspired by the Armani retrospective held at the Guggenheim Museum in New York in 2000. Organized around the three elements of "color," "form," and "material," rather than chronological order, the exhibition features approximately 30 looks, mainly from the 1990s and early 2000s.
The soft jackets for menswear and the delicate embroidery for womenswear are striking and embody the elegance and understated beauty that the brand pursues.
We invite you to experience a space that brings together the artistry and consistency that we have been refining for 50 years.
