The fabric used is merino wool, a superfine wool of 18.5 microns. Merino wool is characterized by its temperature control function, anti-odor and anti-bacterial properties, and excellent moisture absorption and quick-drying properties. Many people are probably aware that merino wool is gaining popularity these days as outdoor wear for mountain climbing and as everyday summer wear. You can really spend a comfortable time all year round.
However, the conventional polyester-based special fiber did not bring out the best of the fabric, so a new nylon-based material called "Nylon SELFLAME®" was developed and adopted. The two-layer structure combined with merino wool seems to have brought out the best in each other.
