It's the era of fashion x health tech. Diesel and Ultra Human collaborate to release Smart Ring.

Sometimes people think about lost technology. But the same can be said for future technology. If we stop pursuing the possibilities, that is the end. Maintenance is important, but it is equally or even more important to move forward.

Diesel's new ring is the one that made me realize this. Diesel has collaborated with Ultrahuman, a health tech company from India, to create a new smart ring.

Glen Martins, the creative director of Diesel, supervised the design of this new watch. The body is made of titanium with a tungsten carbide coating, and is decorated with Diesel's unique design.

This is where the vision of "athlete-level healthcare data for all" was loaded into Ultrahuman, which was born in India in 2019.

A brief summary of what this ring can do is manage your health and track your sleep and activity. The ring has six built-in sensors that measure heart rate, skin temperature, and blood oxygenation, and the data can be managed on the app.

These health tech items are quite useful for people who do any kind of sports and also for noticing the beginning of a cold or something. As was said in the Corona Disaster, in Japan, where influenza is prevalent every year, it is a good idea to use these items.

Battery life is said to last about 4-6 days on a full charge of about 90 minutes. The weight varies depending on the size, but it weighs about 2.4 to 3.6g and is available in two colors. This is a great item for people who don't like the overly techie design typical of wearable devices to try.
