Bag BrandFREITAGThe concept of maximizing the value of reuse and the fashionable concept of no two pieces are the same, and the brand has established itself as a one-of-a-kind brand.
The new model "ZIPPELIN" is a milestone in the company's broad lineup of products. And it was created in a rather special way through Kickstarter.
The campaign for this new product launched on Kickstarter on Tuesday, September 12, and has already met its goal. But just because the goal has been reached does not mean it is no longer available for purchase. This new travel bag, which takes up less space than a bottle of liquor purchased at duty-free stores while traveling, will continue to be available on the crowdfunding site 【 until Thursday, October 12.Kikckstarter.com]. A variety of customized ZIPPELIN tickets will be available until the end date, October 12. Don't miss it!
Let's see how it came into being from their voices.
For more than 20 years since its inception, the brand has been "receiving requests from many of our fans for a large, sturdy travel bag that would allow them to instantly identify and retrieve their luggage without the need for luggage labels. It was then that they were inspired to use a worn-out truck tarp to create a large travel bag that would be stable even when filled to half its capacity and would not exceed the free luggage limits set by airlines around the world. The answer we came up with was both fascinating and unique. It was inspired not by large, bulky framed trolleys or shell-shaped manufacturing methods, but by a unique means of transportation that is uniquely Freitag. The idea was to use the inner tube of a bicycle, which can be inflated with a standard inflator, as the frame. The inner tube can be quickly and easily attached to the zippered frame space.
Wheels with skateboard bearings were chosen for the trolley and designed to be easily removable. As a result, the storage problem faced by owners without attics, closets, or storage rooms is solved. Why? Because when the vacation is over, the inner tube is deflated, the rollers are removed, and the 85-liter bag is ready for another function. When folded, the ZIPPELIN can be stored so small that it takes up less space than a 2-liter bottle of duty-free liquor purchased at the duty-free store while on vacation.
Because of the nature of using used truck tarps, it takes time to secure the fabric, so by using Kickstarter, the company aims to know what the demand is so that the product will not sell out and reach the people who want to buy it.
As soon as the Kickstarter campaign is over, we will start preparing for production with the aim of launching in the summer of 2018.
It could be used compactly on the way to a trip, and inflated on the way back when you have more luggage.
This is a rare brand that embodies knee-slapping ideas. It is a little early to say, but it is fun to think about where you will go with this bag, even if it is only a vague plan for next summer.
