This time we feature a set-up made of 6.6 nylon ripstop fabric by CORDURA® Advanced Fabrics.
Ripstop is a material with a structure that prevents the fabric from spreading even if it tears, by weaving in a grid of reinforcing threads. Originally developed as a functional material for outdoor and military use, Stone Island has sublimated it into a lightweight set-up. The feather-like lightness is immediately apparent when you hold it in your hand. However, it is also highly resistant to abrasion, rips, and tears. Lightness and toughness are two contradictory qualities. The brand's specialty is to combine the two in a single piece of fabric.

Furthermore, it has been treated with a water-repellent finish using a special solvent, making it reliable and unfazed by sudden rain. The jacket has a silhouette accented with a chest change and raglan sleeves. The silhouette can be adjusted with drawcords at the waist and hem, and the hood also has a drawcord for a different look. You are rarely aware of the elastic cuffs, but they allow you to move your arms comfortably.

The pants have a loose fit with darts at the knees for a relaxed look and ease of movement. A drawcord at the waist and elasticated hems give them a sporty look.
