In the eighth installment of our series delving into the edgy appeal of , we explore the “NO SEASONS” capsule collection—a line that breaks free from the fashion timeline of trends and seasons and centers on the themes of “continuity” and “evolution.”
At the heart of “NO SEASONS” lies the archetypal philosophy conceived by Massimo Osti, the founder of *Stone Island*, between 1989 and 1994. It reinterprets this concept with a contemporary approach to create products that transcend changing trends and can be worn for generations to come.

And the most fascinating aspect of this collection lies in the approach of using multiple different fabrics on the exact same pattern. The color palette features “Piombo,” a shade with exquisite depth reminiscent of charcoal. While sharing the same form and color, the textures of the materials create entirely different looks. With a total of six materials available, we’ve selected three to highlight here.
First up is the “CRINKLE REPS NY JACKET,” made from lightweight, ultra-high-density woven nylon, as worn by the model. It features windproof and water-resistant properties thanks to an inner resin coating, and is characterized by a crisp texture and distinctive wrinkles resulting from the uneven dyeing typical of garment-dyed fabrics.

Second is the “TELA RESINATA JACKET,” made from an iconic material that debuted with the brand in 1982: “Tela Stella,” a military truck tarpaulin fabric that has been washed repeatedly. By impregnating both sides of a recycled cotton-blend canvas fabric with different pigment resins and then subjecting it to a product wash, the jacket achieves a texture that offers a firm, structured feel and a rich patina that evolves over time.
Third is the “NYLON PRISMATICO-TC JACKET,” which features a special film laminated to the fabric that diffuses light. It boasts a beautiful luster and sheen that subtly shift depending on the viewing angle and the way light hits it, exuding a high-tech yet somehow fashionable vibe.
