People have their own individuality, good or bad, and if they can sublimate and express it as their own style, a new path will open up in the world. It is like the preface to Soseki Natsume's "Kusamakura.
You may feel as if you are peeking into the process of gravure idol/artist Anio Tenyu, who is scheduled to have an exhibition at "BEAMS CULTURE Takanawa" from April 16 (Thu.) to 26 (Sun.).
She made her gravure debut after winning the "Miss iD" Survival Award, and has been active as an artist since 2024. She has been working as an independent artist since 2024, and if her activities do not match with her own policy, she leaves the office to pursue her own path.
The works presented in this exhibition depict various inhabitants of her world. Centering on angels, imaginary creatures, physically healing animals and stuffed animals are depicted in fluorescent and pastel colors. These works are imbued with “affirmation of life. In other words, they are important pieces that connect the person to the world.
