Altra x Pleasures. A new running shoe with a street perspective is coming soon.

While collaborations between sports and fashion brands have become increasingly common, the pairing of ALTRA and PLEASURES is a bit unexpected. A limited-edition running shoe created through a partnership between the brand dedicated to “natural running” and the LA streetwear brand will be released soon. Here’s a comment on the collaboration.

EXPERIENCE FLOW 3 “SATELLITE” ¥24,200

Running is also a central part of Pleasures’ identity, which is why this collaboration came about through the application of Altra’s research and development.

The base model is the "EXPERIENCE FLOW 3," released this spring, featuring a low-drop design with a 4mm heel-to-toe drop. It offers the spacious toe box characteristic of Altra, yet its standard shape provides a comfortable, snug fit, making it a pair that anyone can wear with ease.

The base color for this model is a metallic silver-blue (Satellite) inspired by the hues of satellites orbiting in space. Silver paint accents are applied across the entire upper to represent the trail of speed, capturing the moment when a runner’s afterimage appears as they sprint.

Altra has been gaining popularity not only for running and outdoor activities but also as everyday streetwear lately. This new release might just help accelerate that trend even further.
