The Silence Was All Words was filmed between 2011 and 2015 in his hometown of Fukushima Prefecture.

And "Whistling at the Moon" is a group of photographs taken between 2004 and 2005, traveling around Japan by slow train and on foot, with no destination in mind.

The exhibition will feature three panoramic-sized works from "All That Was Silence Was Words," photographed between 2011 and 2015.

In addition, the exhibition includes prints and samples of bundles, which can only be seen during the production process of the collection, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of these works.
In the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred in 2011, the artist shot "All that was silent were words" in his hometown of Fukushima, and "Whistling in the Moon" was shot while moving around aimlessly long before the disaster. Please feel the artist's own feelings that emerge undeniably from both works.
If photographing the local area is a process of seeking what is left at the end of the process, by removing the things and events that I was born with, using my experience and knowledge that I acquired later, then photographing other areas is a process of finding new curiosities and interests from the things and events that I was born with, as well as my experience and knowledge, and testing to see how far I can expand myself. I believe that photographing other regions is a test to see how far I can expand myself.
I feel that the publication of a collection of photographs taken at a major crossroads in my life, when I was just starting out and when I decided to continue with photography, at the same time, is a new crossroads for me.
