Kenji Hashimoto of LANDRAW Inc., a well-known up-and-coming designer, was in charge of the total direction of the project, from branding to interior design. The guestrooms were designed to resemble a cruise ship cabin in reference to the port city of Yokohama, with navy, gray, and brown as the basic color scheme to create an industrial space. In addition to the sofa and other original furniture from Acme Furniture, a bed and desk with an impressive deep wood grain were custom-made and placed in the room. In addition to the furniture, amenities and other furnishings were also produced and selected as collaboration items.

The hotel's common spaces and restaurant "PANWOK" are decorated with artwork by illustrator Yusuke Hanai, and the imaginary owner of "HOTEL THE KNOT YOKOHAMA" welcomes all visitors.
Another great feature of this hotel is that you can actually purchase the furniture and amenities you like in your guest room. This is the first hotel in Japan where you can bring back memories of the relaxation you actually experienced as an object.
No other hotel in the world stirs up such a desire to stay overnight, let alone to buy. HOTEL THE KNOT YOKOHAMA, a new kind of hotel in Yokohama, will open on December 1 (Friday)!
