Julien David is a Parisian designer who moved to the U.S. to study fashion at the age of 19. His own eponymous brand <brand nameJulien DavidThe company has always been in the spotlight, including the opening of the world's first street-level store in Tokyo in 2013.
Julien David, which offers a wide range of items in addition to its clothing collection, including a sneaker-only pop-up at a JOURNAL STANDARD store, has launched a fragrance candle for the first time in the brand's history. The first fragrance candle in the brand's history is now available.
Julien was inspired by the candles of a long-established store in Kyoto. He worked with a candle maker in France, his home country, to create two scents, "Jomon Forest" and "Heian Garden.
The product is a mixture of Japanese and Western elements that is typical of Julien David, whose creations are a fusion of ideas generated day and night from his beloved Japanese culture and his own sense of style cultivated in France and the United States. The brand was previously sold at "Colette" in Paris, but sadly the store will soon be closed, so it will be sold exclusively at the "JULIEN DAVID JINGUMAE SHOP" in Tokyo.
