【FOCUS IT.]It will always suit you. The reason why reshop has all the Oliver Goldsmith models.

What is the store in Tokyo with the most love for clothes? When asked the question, "Which shop has the most love for clothes in Tokyo?L'ECHOPPEI am sure that not a few of you would answer, "I'm not sure.

The process of running a select store, buying and proposing, is filled with a philosophy and time and effort that no other store can imitate.

It's hard to find a place where you can just walk in a store and get a silent boost of "I love clothes". And then you buy new clothes again.

IMG_2963

Such "reshop" has started to propose eyewear. Selected are [Joon], [Joon], [Joon], [Joon] and [Joon].OG by Oliver Goldsmith (OG×OLIVERGOLDSMITH)The acetate model of the "B2B Lens" is made by Kodak Lens, and the "B2B Lens" is made by Kodak Lens to match the acetate model of the "B2B Lens.

It is not unusual for clothing stores to carry eyewear. However, this proposal had a special meaning. We asked buyer Keiji Kaneko why.

IMG_2984

Les stores are clothing stores. We sometimes deal in sunglasses and other items, but unlike shoes and bags, we are highly specialized, which makes it difficult to do. Originally, we didn't think of handling them on a large scale. However, when I saw celluloid frames lined up in an installation at a brand exhibition, I thought it would simply be fun to choose one that would suit me.

Dark gray ¥36,000-¥40,000+TAX

The first thing that "Reshop" suggests for eyewear selection is to handle "large quantities" of eyewear. Because eyewear is a part of a person's face, the line between what looks good and what does not look good is a delicate one, and it is impossible to tell without actually trying on the eyewear. Therefore, it makes sense to have a large quantity.

With so much to choose from, there is something for everyone to suit one or two things. As for the role of "reshop," we want people with various personalities and lifestyles to find something they like. As for eyewear, we dare not narrow it down, but rather propose that people find something that will definitely suit them. If I'm going to do it, it's either 0 or 100, and that's my extreme point (laughs).

Different sizes of the same shape are also available. The impression when you wear the glasses is completely different when the size is changed.

As the name suggests, there are 17 tortoiseshell models, 16 dark gray models, and an impressive lineup of the same shape in different sizes. Of course, the point of attention is not limited to the number of items, but also to the colors.

This one looks like black, but it's a dark gray. Black is always an option for me, but it is a little too strong. This gray color seems to have been produced with a lot of effort, and it has the perfect balance to fit Japanese Japanese faces. If it were brighter than this, it would make a strong statement. I think we can make a new proposal to people who have only worn black until now."

IMG_3032

Tortoiseshell is made in Italy and took about two years to develop. The mix of colors is elegant and nice. The color has a clear contrast between light and dark, yet it blends well with the skin. The elegant texture of the metal nosepiece and the excellent comfort of wearing them are well-balanced, as are the details other than the color. I felt that Aussie by Oliver Goldsmith could do this with confidence.

The seriousness of "Reshop" does not end here. The focus will now shift to another important element of eyewear: the lens.

Kodak Lens has a line of lenses packaged with easy-to-understand illustrations by Noritake, and I thought this would be a good way to provide customers with the right lens for the right situation. I thought this was a great idea.

Noritake's illustrations convey the scene, not the function. You can tell at a glance when you should use the lens.

Polarizing film is contained in the lens to cut diffuse reflection of light. This reduces glare.
Polarized lenses are particularly popular, and some people even convert sunglasses from other companies to Kodak lenses.

DRIVE
Contrast lenses suitable for nighttime driving are used, which cut the rays of light that people perceive as dazzling and maintain clear vision.
When driving at night, it reduces the flickering of the eyes from the lights of oncoming vehicles.

CHOUKOU
The color of the lens changes in response to ultraviolet rays. Colored lenses during the day. Clear lens at night.
Sunglasses and daters, a substitute that can go with just one. According to Mr. Kaneko, "I think it will definitely sell because it is a clothing store.

In addition to the above three, COLOR, BLUE CUT, and DA-TE are available, for a total of six types. It is highly transparent, blocks harmful rays of light, and has an anti-reflective coating and ultraviolet rays blocking function similar to the degree lenses sold at eyeglasses stores.

The transparent lenses generally attached to eyeglasses on the market are called demo lenses, which are designed to prevent frame curvature and originally require lens replacement. This may be common knowledge for eyeglass lovers, but it may be surprisingly unknown.

."During O'Leary'sI feel that we are going to do it all the time with the same intensity as we have done in the past. I'm willing to change my suggestions a little bit depending on the season. I intend to keep it as a regular feature."

Eyewear is needed in various situations throughout the year. That is why you can choose whenever you want. This convenience, which may seem obvious but is not, makes us happy. If you choose frames and lenses you like, they will keep them in the store and deliver them a few days later. There are no extra costs. They also sell lenses only, and will exchange lenses even if they were not purchased at "reshop".

By the way, we asked Mr. Kaneko which model he would choose out of such a wide selection.

I'd rather swing one way or the other than the other halfway. I like the thicker ones around here. The cell design is superb."

The rollout will begin on Saturday, January 13. B2B LENS" from "Kodak Lens" will be on sale to the general public from February 1 (Thu.), but will be sold exclusively at "reshop" in advance. We conclude with Kaneko's words below. Please come and visit us.

The last time you say, "I want a pair of glasses," in a store, you are guaranteed to get a pair that suits you. The trick is to make sure that they will fit you. You can never escape (laughs).
