Started in 2001.BOTTEGA VENETA.The Art of Collaboration" advertising campaign. Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel, Robert Longo .
The latest campaign, for the Spring/Summer 2018 season, is a digital-driven campaign using video. Directed by creative director Fabien Baron, the campaign consists of six videos titled "Reflections," and is like a mysterious movie. While all the videos share the common theme of "rebirth," "time reversal," and "reconnection," each episode tells a different story. The video at the top of the page shows the campaign in action. The video at the top is a trailer that sums up the campaign in a nutshell.
Two of the six films were released this month. The first, "Miraggio," shows a car on fire with sirens blaring and a woman holding a bag on fire. The following piece, "196.6 MHz," depicts a man in a motel and a woman in a car trying to connect with each other through the radio, even though they are in different places. The number "196.6 MHz" refers to the year the brand was founded.

In addition to Fabien Baron, the production team is a collaboration of leading staff, including Academy Award-winning cinematographer Philippe Le Sueur and Stéphane Beckmann, a stage set designer who has worked on numerous runway shows. It is no wonder that the video is so eye-catching and perfect.
The remaining four films will be released in March and April. The films, which seem to overturn the conventional wisdom of advertising campaigns, show exactly how much effort Bottega Veneta has put into this project.
