The brothers' father is Hideo Honike, a leather artist certified as an intangible cultural asset holder by Tottori Prefecture. His creations, which celebrate the incredible richness of texture, are highly acclaimed around the world. The brand "MOTO" was created by Hideo Honike, and is already a well-established brand with a history of over 40 years.
. This trunk show is the culmination of their activities. The show will feature an impressive assortment of over 400 pieces of vintage jewelry from "MOTO," including special native jewelry created by Hideo Motoike for this event, as well as a collection of over 40 years' worth of archived vintage jewelry from "MOTO.
Also on view for the first time is the long-awaited new work by Daisuke Motoike, who studied metal carving techniques in Florence, Italy. One of the highlights of the exhibition is the contrast between Hideo Motoike's powerful native jewelry and Daisuke Motoike's simple and contemporary works.
