Mercedes-Benz will offer the "Private G Activity in HAKUBA," a two-day and one-night private tour that provides an opportunity to experience the evolution of the G-Class in a completely private setting and to experience the real outdoors in the company's Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort in Nagano Prefecture. The tour is limited to two groups per day, for a total of 8 groups during the period, and will be held on weekends in August and September.
The "Private G Activity in HAKUBA" allows participants to experience off-road driving in new and old G-Class vehicles, activities supported by world-class athletes, and camping at a special site on the summit of the mountain. The "Private G Activity in HAKUBA" is an ultra-exclusive event, limited to two groups of participants per event. Incidentally, Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort, the venue of the event, is known as a sacred place for mountain biking in summer and winter sports in winter, and is a spectacular spot where you can enjoy the beauty of nature in each of the four seasons.
On the first day of the tour, we will gather at THE NORTH FACE Hakuba Store, where we will be briefed on the two-day itinerary and vehicles at the café attached to the store, and then board the "G-Class" for the summit of Mt. Following the lead vehicle driven by a staff member, we headed for the camp space at the top of the mountain.
The main attraction of this event is the off-road experience where guests themselves take the wheel and drive the G-Class on the "G-Class ONLY" Iwatake forest roads, which are normally off-limits to the public. After enjoying off-road riding, relax and enjoy the beautiful air and scenery near the top of Mount Iwatake, which has been reserved for this event. Dinner is a special meal supervised by the up-and-coming chef, Shoichiro Ichiro Higashi, owner of the Italian restaurant "LIFE" in Yoyogi and also active in the media. We will entertain you with authentic cuisine while you enjoy an extraordinary experience in the mountains. At night, we will stay in tents under the magnificent starry sky that stretches to the heavens. There will also be a night bar and other activities, so you can enjoy a long, leisurely evening drink.
Another highlight is the second day. The second day of the tour will feature SUP (stand-up paddle surfing) or mountain biking activities led by world-class career athletes and instructional professionals. Then, after enjoying Hakuba's nature with all your body, you will sweat it out in the local hot spring, Iwatake no Yu, and end the tour with an exquisite lunch directed by Chef Market. Before the tour ends, you will also receive souvenirs such as a stainless steel bottle produced in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz and "Hydro Flask" and a grooming set from "Aesop"!
In addition to the charm of the new G-Class, participants can enjoy the splendor of Hakuba to their heart's content. The lottery is open until July 31, 2012, at 24:00, and the fee is 40,000 yen per person, including activities and meals (no children under junior high school age are allowed to participate).
