Offering high quality French casual dining.AMI Alexandre MattiussiThe clothes are full of relaxed elegance and openness. The clothes are relaxed, graceful, and open, and have gained many fans since their debut in 2011 as a casual AMI (meaning "friend" in French) that can be affectionately associated with.
Now, the company has opened its second flagship store in Asia, following the Tokyo store that opened last year, in the Causeway Bay district of Hong Kong.
Architects Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty of STUDIO KO, who have worked on all of Ami's directly managed stores, are again in charge of this project. Based on the concept of "Parisian Heritage," the entrance features a striking brass lattice and black wood cladding, while inside the store, brass racks and wood display shelves with deep red, blue, and white marble fixtures bring a Parisian feel. As a symbol of the Hong Kong store, cork material and mirrored mosaics were used to create a magical space that creates a visual illusion.
I.T., a key player in Hong Kong fashion who handles a number of up-and-coming brands, has been appointed as a retailer for "Ami". He is expected to further boost Hong Kong's fashion market, which has been growing rapidly in recent years. We will keep an eye on his future development.
