The music festival, "MIZUKAMI Kogen Resort 200," was held on September 15 (Sat.) and 16 (Sun.) at the "Mizukami Kogen Resort 200" in Gunma Prefecture.New Acoustic Camp." This year marks the ninth time that the festival, known as "New Aco," has been held, and is popular with a wide range of people, including families.
The festival is organized by TOSHI-LOW (OVERGROUND ACOUSTIC UNDERGROUND/BRAHMAN) under the concept of "laugh, sing, eat, and sleep around. This festival is organized by TOSHI-LOW (OVERGROUND ACOUSTIC UNDERGROUND/BRAHMAN) under the concept of "laugh, sing, eat, and sleep around. The festival is a one-of-a-kind space where the mountains, camping, and music are "all there in the same place. Although it is a medium-sized festival held in Minakami, far from the city center, it attracts a large number of visitors every year, and this year, a total of 25,000 people attended the festival, including the eve of the festival. This year, a total of 25,000 people came to the festival, including the eve of the festival, which shows that the festival has a strong fan base.
HOUYHNHNM's editorial staff also went to Minakami to experience the best festival experience again, following last year. Unfortunately, the weather was unfortunate this year, but the sunshine in between and the powerful energy of the visitors brought a lot of enthusiasm to New Aco.
Even though it was raining, the workshops and recreation booths set up by participating brands were a big success as usual! The outdoor activities that everyone knows are indispensable when talking about the outdoors areCOLUMBIAThe booths were indeed a great success.
The booths were dignified, with a tent displaying hunting jackets, fishing vests, and other historical masterpieces, as well as Frisbee throwing, in which all participants were on fire for the prizes.
OVERGROUND ACOUSTIC UNDERGROUND
The first day of the festival began with the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra as the top performer, followed by Nakamura Emi, mabanua, Charan po Lantern, RHYMESTAR, MONOEYES, Sincerity Brothers, Kenichi Asai, and others. Another attraction of Nuaco is that you can see rarely seen projects like the Brahms' group.
On the second day, Nabowa, Sakiyama Aoshi, Flower Companyz, Sugashicao, EGO-WRAPPIN', Hanaregumi, OVERGROUND ACOUSTIC UNDERGROUND, and many others performed. The "Acoustic" was expressed as they wished.
Among the various live shows I saw, the most impressive was the RHYMESTAR stage. In keeping with the concept of "new acoustic," RHYMESTAR performed an acoustic version without a DJ set for the first time in RHYMESTAR's history (!!). DJ JIN played percussion, which was a rare moment for fans.
By night, the tent sites are just as you see them. The experience of camping with friends while feeling the quiet flow of time is very special, and the rain didn't seem to bother them at all.
Next year's New Ako will be the 10th anniversary of the event! I have a feeling that there will be special events, both at the booths and on the music stage. If you have been coming every year, please continue to visit us, and if you have not experienced it yet, please check out next year's New Ako.
