Peru is located on the other side of Japan. Alpacas are raised in the high mountainous region of the Andes Mountains, which rises over 4,000 meters above sea level. It is a barren and harsh land where neither cattle nor sheep can be raised.
Alpaca hair raised in such places has long been valued as a material for clothing and rugs. The hair is shiny, supple, and resistant to pilling. And now, with the introduction of the new product ,...MARKAWARE. will be releasing items made with alpaca fiber. In conjunction with this release, a fair will be held to showcase the superiority of this fiber.
Alpaca fiber is extremely rare, accounting for only 0.011 TP10T of the total textile material, but there will also be items made from natural black, one of only one in a thousand, as well as limited edition items for the fair.
The designers will also unveil the video and photographs they have taken on their tour of the pastures and factories.
