DRIES VAN NOTENAmong the many items that the company offers, shirts have been treated with the utmost care.
Despite the glamorous title of "Antwerp Six," the brand did not get off to a good start. 1986, when it managed to exhibit in a corner of the London Collections, "Barneys New York" placed an order for a shirt.
This Western-inspired shirt has a pajama-like sheen and an oversized, relaxed feel. This khaki-colored shirt is transformed into a wonderfully elegant piece with its long sword tips and embroidery that runs from the front placket to the hem.
The orthodox white shirt has a seam at the hem, and the navy shirt is made of a moderately transparent fabric to give it a unique appearance.
There is a complimentary phrase for a shirt that says it can be worn alone, and Dries Van Noten does just that.
