“EDWINEDWIN TOKYO HARAJUKU, the first EDWIN concept store, celebrates its second anniversary exactly today, November 29 (Thu.). To celebrate this anniversary, a special denim line was created.
The new products are "BARIKATA DENIM" and "GONBUTO DENIM". What's with that name? I'm curious! but the finished products are first-rate.
BARI-KATA denim ¥22,000+TAX
Both the warp and weft are made of extra thick 3.5 count cotton yarn . 23oz (!) selvedge denim woven on a Japanese cotton shuttle loom. The selvedge denim is woven on a Japanese cotton shuttle loom. It is named "BARIKATA denim" because of the large twill grain and the rough texture it produces.
The fabric is so hard that craftsmen beat it with hammers to make it thick enough to be sewn. You can enjoy the feeling of wearing it as if you were wearing armor, and the unique color fading.
Gombuto Denim ¥18,000+TAX
. 11 oz selvedge denim with pure indigo rope-dyed yarn made of Zimbabwe cotton. The unique COPY00 texture of Zimbabwe cotton and supple comfort. . White thread stitching with slash pocket specifications, reminiscent of work pants.
The silhouette is in line with the current trend, and is said to be one of the thickest in Edwin's history! This is also unique.
A limited number of 200 original donburi will be given to customers who purchase "BARIKATA DENIM" , "GOMBUTO DENIM" or those who spend more than 20,000 yen. This is also a nice finish!
The finish is first-rate, while still being unique. The new year at EDWIN TOKYO HARAJUKU is about to begin with the best items.
